Interesting times....
I got to hang out with ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=92.1) illusionofasoul last saturday and we had a wonderful time! We went to The Metropolitan Museum of Art. It was AMAZING. I could have stayed there all day. I really loved the ancient Egyptian artifacts. After that we went to this neat little restaurant called Chat and Chew. They have fantastic baked mac and cheese and illusionofasoul ended up getting a burrito the size of her head! Good times...
I bought mina a kitty tree thingie. I spent a small fortune on the damn thing and she doesn't even use it that often! Well, that's a cat for you. I'll have to rub more catnip on it.
I have a little bit of a cold. Whenever I get sick it always ends up affecting my hearing, and today at work I actually went completely deaf for a few hours. My own voice was just a faint murmur in my head. It was kind of scary. I should probably go to a doctor soon... Well, my health insurance kicks in next month, thankfully.
I love my bank. I had 4 overdraft fees($30 each!) because PetCo is retarded and charged me for the cat tree TWICE, thereby putting my account in the negative. When I went to deposit my check today I told the teller what happened and he was nice enough to make the overdraft charges go away! Then, when I got home, I found a $25 gift card for Target in the mail from WaMu for using my debit card a certain number of times a few months ago. Washington Mutual kicks ass.
Now I'm going to get cozy in bed and watch a movie. I bought The Jacket because madminx said it's a good movie and we have similar tastes. You know what they say about great minds. ;)

I love musuems. I wish I knew more people who liked them around here so they'd go with me. I guess I could go alone... but ... that would be kinda blah.
Aww she's looks so cute on her kitty tree!! I'm sure she'll start using it more when she gets used to it.
That really sucks. My hearing has been had too ever since I had a stupid ear infection and couldn't go to the doctor for it. Good thing you get health insurance soon. I wish I had health insurance. Meh!
Banks suck ass, especially Bank of America.
Yay!!! Tell me what you think of it! It's weird but in a good way and makes you think. I hope you like it! If you don't tell me anyway and tell me why and it better be a good reason or I'll hate you forever and ever and ever and ever... and stuff :p
OMG eva! I just bought a membership to The Musuem of Contemporary Art recently. We should totallly hit up the museum like all the time. It's only $5 to get in and we can take the train if we don't want to drive. ;)
Not having health insurance sucks. I don't have one right now and my knee hurts really bad. I'm not covered under my parents anymore because of my age and they won't accept me because I'm mentally ill. Isn't that the biggest load of crap ever? If anything you'd think that it would be more incentive to give me insurance....whatevs.
Banks are okay. All I know is that they keep my money "safe." I also have Washington Mutual so hopefully something good will happen.

Insurance doesn't REALLY want to pay for what ails you, they'd rather take your money and find ways to NOT give it back in healthcare. ><; I'm going to go alone. There's still so much I want to see at the Met, and there are other museums I want to visit.
YAY! She uses her kitty tree now! I always walk in the room and see a paw or a tail(or both) dangling from the hole in the topmost part. It's so insanely CUTE.
It's a little better, but not completely. I'm STILL sick. It's bullshit. Awww, we can be deaf, crazy, little old cat ladies together!
No, no, no. You missed the point. WaMu doesn't suck. :p But yeah, Bank of America is a fucking nightmare.
lol, I didn't LOVE it but it entertained me and I love Adrien Brody. Dork.
